Fluency is the ability to express oneself readily and effortlessly.
What is the one thing that prevents folks from feeling confident about their readings. Lack of fluency. Why? Because reading books and personal study does not give you live reading experience. You learn about tarot but you do not learn to speak tarot.
Tarot has its own language with rules of grammar, expression and dialogue. Just like learning a foreign language, the only way to become fluent is to speak it. Live.
My focus is on exactly this: teaching you techniques and exercises that build your confidence with expressing what you see in the cards – live.
Each week you will receive a 1 hr video lesson and slides at the beginning of the week. Our class on Saturday is 2 hours and includes a recap of the key concepts plus exercises to embed and reinforce these skills with plenty of live reading practice.

Since taking Fluency with Elise I feel so much more confident in my reading and weaving the story that is presented in the cards. Elise’s teaching offered me some missing keys which have allowed me to feel a much greater intimacy with the cards as a form of divination and self-inquiry.
The classes themselves were a lot of fun, a lot of valuable info with challenging and irreverent exercises to get us practising and anchor the learning straight away. Elise really is teaching her students to speak the language of tarot in a way that is genuine for them and this is a mighty refreshing and fun approach. Highly recommended.

If I am a little tardy in giving feedback, it is because, ironically, for a course named Fluency, I have been left lost for words to explain the profoundly positive effect Elise’s approach has had on my card reading skills.
I have been studying tarot intensely, daily, for around 18 months now, focusing very much on the symbolism of the cards rather than on using them as a cartomantic tool. So, while my understanding of the occult nature of certain decks is solid, I struggled to apply that to any sort of fluid narrative when attempting to use them for illumination or divination, and this use of the cards was becoming more pressing in my life.
Elise’s Fluency course came at just the right time and has given me exactly what I needed to throw cards with deftness and confidence.
This is due both to the tools and techniques shared and to Elise herself, whose openness, warmth and generosity shine though in her teachings.
Thank you Elise, this was revolutionary for me, I am so very grateful.

Elise is known and called the ACTUAL witch for a reason and Fluency showed that through and through.
Having beautiful visuals to help with us understand and deepen our knowledge and craft of the tarot cards, her magical words guided the group through the lessons while maintaining a judgement free zone where all of us were comfortable practicing and experimenting.
I feel so blessed to have been taught by Elise because every time Elise speaks of magic in the form of teaching I level up 5 million.
I look forward to the next classes, thank you so much Elise!”

Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. And he actually bought me lunch since I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! “Life is a continual upgrade.” by J. Mark Wallace.
